We are currently seeking a Bar Manager to lead our talented team!

POSITION SUMMARY

The Bar manager is responsible for all beverage operations & bar standards for Light Years FOH Team.  The Bar Manager is to support the Venue Manager in all FOH procedures, whilst working closely with them to improve and work in with the Light Years standard to ensure all guidelines are being met. The Bar Manager is to assist in monitoring KPI reports & Bar COGS.

ABOUT YOU

  • Ability to monitor all Bar COGS, Stocktake and Bar products.
  • Analysis on bar sequence of service & development with Team training & knowledge.
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience with managing a large team
  • Experience in a fast paced and high volume venue
  • Outstanding Customer service & relations
  • Wine and Asian cuisine knowledge – looked upon favourably, but not essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Training of all junior staff and casual staff on the bar, along with ensuring in house training is conducted regularly and conduct your own training on a rotational roster.
  • Monitoring all COGS & Supplier invoices. Adjusting GP’s if cost of goods go up.
  • Ensuring the bar, service and drinks quality is at Light years standard
  • Ordering of all Wines, Beers & Kegs, Fruit & Vegetables and spirit accounts.
  • Handle all customer complaints when running a shift and improve customer experience in store.
  • Completing weekly stock take and monitoring all stock on hand and coming in, in compliance with the Venues budget.
  • Creating specials, competitions and working on ideas to increase the revenue of the business and encourage growth within the company.
