We are currently seeking a Chef de Partie to join our talented kitchen team in beautiful Miami.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Chef de Partie at Bar Monte, you will be responsible for preparing food to the highest standards and managing your designated section in the kitchen. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, guiding junior chefs, ensuring consistency, and maintaining a positive, professional attitude at all times. This role involves setting up and stocking your section, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, and executing tasks with both precision and efficiency.
ABOUT YOU
- 3+ years’ experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen (essential).
- Sound communication skills and a strong ability to work under pressure.
- A positive, team-oriented approach to working with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Experience with Italian ingredients and techniques is preferred, but not essential.
- Punctual and reliable, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow recipes and specifications accurately.
- Maintain food and hygiene standards at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Kitchen Standards: Maintain Bar Monte’s high standards of quality, presentation, service, and cleanliness.
- Staff Training: Support the coaching and development of junior chefs, assisting the Head Chef with training sessions as needed.
- BOH & FOH Communication: Play an active role in liaising between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, particularly during service.
- Food Safety: Ensure that all kitchen staff are following proper food safety procedures and compliance with all regulations.
- Audits: Contribute to achieving high scores in all kitchen inspections and audits.
- Teamwork: Work together with the wider kitchen team to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, while also contributing to the overall success of the venue.
