Winning Serves: Light Years x Australian Open
After a trillion DMs (perhaps a slight exaggeration, but there's been a lot) from our Victorian friends we can FINALLY share that we're heading south!
At Light Years Asian Diner, we are known for celebrating tonality and texture, and our presence at the Australian Open is a testament to our vibrant flavours and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a fan of miso butter corn ribs, or our fluffy boa buns, we have something for everyone to enjoy while taking in the excitement of the Australian Open. We're stoked to be serving alongside a diverse mix of Australia's best chefs and venues, it's an honour to be a part of such an iconic Australian sporting event! You can find our pop-up in the Southern Kitchen of Grand Slam Oval between crowd favourites Easeys Burgers and Stalactites Greek restaurant. Score yourself a ticket and we'll see you there!

AND THAT'S A WRAP...!
Our very first Australian Open appearance, and wow - what a response we had.
You came in your droves to Grand Slam Oval to watch the epic matches unfold on the big screens, enjoy a drink or two at the surrounding bars, and feast on the amazing variety of food that was on offer this year.
And as it turns out.. you guys love a Light Years bao bun! Over 20,000 serves of them were consumed in the two week period. And we think that’s pretty ace.
Thank-you all for coming out to support us and our surrounding food vendors and friends. Extra special shout outs to our neighbours Easeys & Stalactites Restaurant and to the Australian Open for having us at easily the best sporting event in the country.
Game. Set. Match! 🎾
